A Map of The Universe

This is a map showing what astronomers see in the sky. You are located at the bottom, and the observable edge of the Universe is shown at the top. At the top is the cosmic microwave background, it was emitted 13.7 billion years agos. In between, astronomers have detected millions of galaxies and supermassive black holes.
