An interactive visualization of the median age of different reddit communities. Median ages estimated from usernames, more details shortly. Purple and blues dots show younger communities (~18). Orange and Red dots show older communities (~30). Black dots show communities with not enough data to estimate ages.

The clustering (locations) of reddit communities are from reddit user rhiever in October 2013. The points are grouped together by users with common interested and sized by their weighted PageRank value. See the research article on the method used to create redditviz. It may be distributed under a Creative Commons license.
